Villa Atacaya is a riverside paradise situated a few kilometres from the spectacular Tanah Lot sea temple on Bali’s glorious 'sunset' coast. Offering five private and luxurious bedrooms, indoor and outdoor dining, a bar, TV lounge and 15-metre swimming pool on the banks of a jungle-fringed river, the villa comes fully staffed with a manager, in-house chef, butlers, security guards, and a car and driver. A purpose-built events space, makes this a very special setting for large weddings and other special celebrations, especially when Villa Atacaya is rented together with its four-bedroom neighbour, Villa Iskandar.
Villa Atacaya is situated in a jungle-fringed river gorge close to the village of Beraban in Bali’s Tabanan regency, which is known as Bali’s ‘rice bowl’ due to its vast terraced rice fields. This quaint village bordering a river is a rare example of a traditional Balinese community barely touched by tourism and the rapid development to the south of the island. Villa guests are accorded a privileged insight into the agricultural, religious and daily life of the friendly villagers. Just four kilometres away is the famed Tanah Lot sea temple and the award- winning Greg Norman-designed Nirwana Bali Golf Course. The nearest surf beaches, including Echo Beach, are about eight kilometres from the villa.
we had a family holiday during March at Villa Attacaya. accommodation was fantastic with large spacious rooms, great gardens and a large swimming pool. Villa is a little out of way, but an easy drive to tourist areas.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. The highlight for us though was meeting the staff. Everybody including security, cooks, drivers, butlers, cleaners were very friendly and efficient.
Special mention must go to Suriya and Suka who made us feel right at home and for whom nothing was too much trouble. We were able to put full trust in them when talking about local shopping, attractions, customs etc. They really made our holiday fantastic
