Villa Kulo is built to socialise and relax in. A plethora of voluminous spaces beckons for you to gather with your family and friends, furthermore, unlike many Bali properties this is fully enclosed and air-conditioned throughout. Enter through the oversized front door and embark upon a large open plan living, kitchen and dining room. Beautifully furnished with a large flat screen TV, plush rugs and quirky island art you can imagine lazy evenings with your nearest and dearest.
The kitchen is in an outsized recess and has been fitted to the highest standards with all the modern appliances you would expect including a blender, a microwave and a large gas hob. Beyond the 6 seater, dining table and chairs with rattan touches are large patio doors leading out onto a petite pool area. Cool off here after exploring the island for the day.
Unusually, this villa also has a roof terrace with an enclosed, air-conditioned sunroom and an outdoor space with astroturf and a number of sun loungers and other seating. This is reached by a long white spiral staircase which reaches up from a second seating area on the spacious first-floor landing.
All three of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor and comprise of king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms and balconies with Parisian café-style tables and chairs which are reached through patio doors. This fills the rooms with natural light plus they are designed with a modern, minimalist palette and air conditioned for your comfort. The bedroom at the rear of the property overlooking the swimming pool is slightly larger and the ensuite here has a bath and a shower.
This villa is staffed by housekeeping who will make sure that your beds are made and that all the day to day cleaning is undertaken. We also provide the ingredients for your first morning’s breakfast and if you find your schedule is too jam-packed with holiday fun, we can do your grocery shopping at a 25% charge.
Seminyak is the fashionable multicultural hub of Bali featuring some of the island’s most renowned outlet stores, restaurants and spas, and Villa Kulo is right at its heart. Located just behind Ultimo down a long leafy lane, with off-street parking and a gated entrance, visitors will feel very secure.
The main strip is bustling with great eateries like Café Bali, Bistrot, Chandi, Trattoria, Ultimo, La Favela (which transforms into a nightclub after hours) as well as great vegan and vegetarian at Earth Café you will never find a shortage of places to dine. What’s more, this street is so special it is referred to by at least 3 names: Oberoi, Jalan Laksmana and the aptly coined Eat Street.
The rolling tides of Seminyak Beach are only a 15 minute walk or a short drive away, as are the famous Bali Beach Clubs which are THE places to be seen: The W, Potato Head and Ku De Ta. In addition, the up and coming neighbourhood of Canggu is about 30 minutes by car and has great surfing beaches or if you want to take a day trip into the islands heavily forested interior head for mountainous Bedugul or the spiritual hub of Ubud. If you fancy journeying further afield boat crossings to the Gili Islands, Lombok and Lembongan are easily arranged and offer a different kind of tropical flavour to your trip.
