Nice place and friendly staff who make every effort to take care of all your needs. True home away from home feeling, and would stay here again in future.
Wow, Wow!! Amazing does not even do the place justice!! Stayed there for my 40th for 8 days. Everything was incredibly organised. The Villa itself is exactly like in the pictures, just absolutely beautiful, the staff are so so friendly and helpful.
Vita, Vita... She was incredible. She made our stay stress free. Nothing was too big or too small. Vita was there to cater to our requests always and she made sure my birthday party was as exactly as I had wanted it to be. I have run out of superlatives for Vita..
All the staff, Putu, Komang, Era, Gede, Rini and Agung (the party food she prepared was just bliss). I have forgotten one or two names but but everyone was just amazing..
I am going back to Bali and I will be only staying at Bali Akasa Villa. Everything about it just blew me away...
Would stay again close to food and shopping the only problem was we have 5 people in our family and taxis were an issue as not big enough to fit luggage and people in .would recommend tthis place .and a very nice place to stay.
Fantastic location and set up for a family get together for my mums 80th birthday. Guests ranged from early 20's to 80's . The venue catered perfectly , group areas , secluded spots and sunny lounge beds by the pool . The staff were accomodating in all our requests from booking taxis to organising the catering for the party dinner held at the villa. Everyone was extremely happy with their stay and I would highly recommend for groups of friends or family gatherings , couldn't praise the staff more highly for their outstanding services provided.
The whole family travelled to Bali to stay at the amazing Akasa Villa to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday and we were not dissapointed. From the complimentary airport puckup to the daily breakfast and very helpful staff who helped arrange transport and gave tips for places to see and do, everything was so easy. The Villa was incredible with a big pool and spacious rooms I could not find any fault with my experience and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway to Bali. 5 stars!
Akasa Villa in Seminyak, Bali was chosen to enjoy our Mother's 80th Birthday celebrations. We had family from 12-81 years of age & it catered well for this. Those that wanted to, could be out each day & experience the sights & experiences in surrounding areas, while those that chose to, could lounge around the pool & rest. All rooms were very comfortable having their own en suite was wonderful for that bit of extra privacy.
The pool area was ideal for all to enjoy day & night. The staff were extremely kind & accommodating.
Our family had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous villa in Seminyak. From the time we arrived and throughout our entire stay we were completely looked after by the amazing staff, who were always available but also very discreet. A beautiful breakfast was cooked for us everyday and they were on hand to cook an awesome seafood feast for my 60th Birthday party.
All the bedrooms were spacious and clean, lovely linen etc, with gorgeous bathrooms. The pool was quite large and the gardens beautifully maintained.
The villa is about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Seminyak restaurants but just a short walk to the corner of the street and you can catch a taxi. All in all it was a great holiday.
Amazing Balinese stunning villa, perfect for families and groups. Friendly and caring staff, lush tropical gardens in a tranquil peaceful location, large bedrooms and good size bathrooms, large pool and a fantastic shared living space. Breakfast was really good, could not fault this villa - the photos don't do it justice. Celebrated a very large party at this villa and the staff were so accommodating. Would highly recommend this villa for families with children and groups.
We recently stayed at Akasa Villa with a group of friends and i would be happy to recommend to anyone who is travelling to Bali and looking for this type of accomadation. Tucked away from the main hustle and bustle but not too far away, it was perfect for what we wanted. The staff there are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, everything they do is done with a smile. The pool is amazing and because of the location we were able to swim at anytime without disrupting anyone else. The 4 bedrooms are very well kept and were maintained each day while we were out and about. I cannot wait to get back to bali and Akasa Villa again.
Akasa Villa is everything in person that the photos show on the website. The grounds are enclosed and private. The well kept gardens that surround the pool and outer edges of the perimeter are lush, tropical and make you feel like your defiantly on holidays! Each room was beautifully presented with clean linen, air conditioned, comfortable beds and had private bathrooms. The way this villa is run means that the staff are very discrete in giving you privacy, but you knew in the background they were looking after every requirement. Each day we were cooked a beautiful breakfast and then during our day trips we would come back and everything had been cleaned, moped, folded, tidied.....It was honestly like magic unseen fairies were looking after us. The staff arranged transport for us, gave advise, met requests and even did the laundry for one of our guests.....and apparently it came back cleaner than when he packed it for the holiday! I would like to thank the staff for making our trip an amazing holiday that we will remember for years to come. On behalf of our group I would have no reservation on recommending this beautiful villa.
I stayed as Akasa Dua - the two bedrrom villa. It was fantastic. Located at the end of a gang. The villa is in a little village a leisurely 10 minute walk from the heart of Seminyak, and if you don't want to walk, there's a 'taxi' rank at the end of the gang. The pool was glorious. Breakfast was delivered to our villa every morning with the table set by the staff. Such great service by everyone.
the pool was just amazing, the staff were wonderful, very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were just gorgeous. we loved the breakfasts
Akasa villa was absolutely beautiful! The staff are so warming and go right out of their way to make your stay comfortable! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were all genuine, reliable and beautiful people.
The rooms, pool and seating area is just divine, and the gardens are also stunning.
I cannot recommed this villa enough and will definately be visiting again.
We stayed at this villa for a week. There were 8 of us in total. The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been of more assistance.
We stayed at the Akasa Villa for a week, with our extended family of 14 people, ranging from 12 to 87 years old. Along with the 5 bedrooms at Akasa, we also rented the adjoining Akasadua Villa, which has an additional 2 bedrooms and its own pool. All rooms are en-suite, air conditioned, in good condition (Akasadua's two bedrooms are newer), very comfortable mattresses and pillows, with mosquito nets above each bed.
Vita and Rini were extremely responsive during our initial inquiry, diligent in following up with us before our visit (to coordinate airport pickup, breakfast menu, sleeping arrangements etc), and wonderful throughout our stay. Dina the manager, and Sri were fantastic as well.
Inside the villa, Gadé the head butler, Madé his assistant, and the rest of the villa staff were equally great. Wonderful crew, all were very thoughtful and helpful with any of our needs. Lou, please be warned that when I purchase my villa in Bali, I will be looking to steal your staff from you.
In my experiences on vacation home rentals, I typically "discount" the website photos by about 30%, due to normal wear and tear. But with Akasa Villa, it truly is quite a fantastic place.
During our stay, the majority of our group was delayed over 8 hours on their arriving flight, but the staff were more than happy to accommodate us, even with an airport pickup at around midnight.
On our first morning, we requested lime for our morning papayas, but there weren't any. But shortly after, the staff made sure the fridge was fully stocked with lime for the rest of the week, very handy as well for our gin and tonics. The fridge was well stocked with different beverages (bintang beer with lemon became my favorite beer of the week), prices are very reasonable. Complimentary filtered water from 5 gallon water dispenser, along with store purchased bagged ice, was available as well.
Breakfast was simple, but great. Eggs, cooked to style, were always perfect. Banana pancakes were a hit. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. We also requested bacon and sausages to be stocked for the week (pay for what you end up eating).
The villa is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak, which allows for peace and quiet. There is a school a little away behind the house, but we were not bothered by that. Unfortunately, there was a neighborhood cat in heat, the week we were there, and she was quite vocal in her needs. We considered relocating her to a different part of the island, but had no luck catching her. We rented two cars with drivers for the week, but on the few occasions where we had to take a taxi home, we just showed the taxi driver the Villa's map, and we got home without any issues.
For one of our nights, we had invited our new in-laws over for dinner, about 20 additional people on top of our 14. The staff were great in helping us cook some dishes, coordinate with some caterers, stock the beverages, prep the place for the party etc. It was a great party (no easy task given the size of our group), and there was plenty of room in the large sitting/dining area.
Sound system for music in the living room was great, easy to connect to any headphone jack on our phones, quiet time kicks in around 1130pm.
On a couple of our more lazy days, when we wanted to take a break from seeing the sights, the staff helped us arranged massages at the Villa, for about US$13 an hour; service was quite good. Madé also helped me prepare a bath, complete with floating flowers, for my daughter. Adding her own Bath Bomb from Lush in there, she was quite pleased with the experience.
We enjoyed a fantastic week in Bali, in no small part to this beautiful villa, and the wonderful staff there. Thank you Akasa Villa.
We recently stayed at Akasa Villa with the additional Akasa dua for 11 nights. We stayed as a group of 15 people ranging in age from 2 through to 70.
The living areas of the villa provide so much space to spend time together, but also enough areas to relax and spend time reading a book on one of the many day beds.
The staff were incredibly friendly and fantastic with our children. They gave us the most beautiful flowers as a gift for our wedding day, the food was delicious and they provided assistance arranging transport and day tours. Nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend this villa if you are travelling as a large group and looking for your own secluded sanctuary only a few minutes from the main strip of Seminyak!
Group of six guys stayed at Akasa Villa and Akasa Dua Villa for a week in June for our annual Bali trip. The villas were wonderful and just as they appeared in the many photos provided on the website. The villa managers were extremely friendly and helpful and checked each day to make sure that everything was OK. The staff were wonderful, always available and ready to assist with any request but very otherwise quiet and unobtrusive.
The bedrooms were great and the beds very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the large pool was perfect for cooling down especially after a game of table tennis. The two gazebos were wonderful for relaxing in and the general living area was very well laid out. The long dining table is perfect for mealtimes and comfortably sits 12 people. Wi-fi worked well and although the TV was not used much it did have good sports channels. Sound system worked really well and got plenty of use.
As a couple of previous reviews mentioned there was a problem with the hot water system but the whole system was being completely replaced the day that we left so that will not be an issue for future guests. The management were most apologetic but this was the only issue that we encountered and it was not a huge problem. On our last day one of our group was very unwell and management were very accommodating, allowing him to use his room for an extra few hours after our check-out time before we had to leave for the airport. It was most appreciated.
The villa is probably not within strolling distance to main shopping and restaurant area for many but with taxis always available at the end of the street this is not a problem at all. The villa is not the easiest to find but the cards provided with a map do help.
Overall we had a wonderful time at Akasa Villa and are already planning to return next year. Thanks very much to Lou, Dina (manager) and Made and the rest of the staff. Look forward to seeing you all again.
