The villa is set in beautifully landscaped tropical garden that is the perfect tranquil setting to relax. We had a wonderful stay and the staff were always willing to go a step further to help their clients.
We stayed for one week at The Shanti Residence. This was our last destination at Bali, actually we made an Indonesian trip and visited Bali, Lombok, Gili Island... After one and a half month we wanted to book a low-budget accommodation, but there was an off-season and I contacted Shanti Villa. The management offered us a nice package therefore I booked this 5star villa. Amazing relaxing place in Nusa Dua for total chill out. We only stayed 1 week but loved it. Food and staff were a dream come true! Plenty of options for breakfast for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Definitely the place to stay if you want to relax in Bali and get away from it all.
It's more than a place; it's an aspiration, a mood, a tropical state of mind. This was our first time staying in Nusa Dua. If we chose to do so again we would not hesitate in booking here again. Highly recommended, highly enjoyable and beautiful memories. Management and staff at this resort are a dream. We left with a good heartfelt vibe.
I recently stayed at Shanti Residence Villa for two nights, from September 27-29, 2017.
These are three things which I feel after concluding my stay at the Shanti Villa.
First, this is like a big ‘home-type’ villa resort for you, where you can have a good time with friends and family.
Second, the butlers do not act as servants but appear more as ‘friends’ to the guests.
Third, Shanti villas looks like the best place for an intimate retreat for couples, families and even corporates.
I would highly recommend Shanti Residence Villa, if you are looking for a unique experience in the Island of Gods which has an overwhelming choice for accommodation.
Stayed at the villa for one night and I can confirm it's the best villa I've stayed at. The staff are amazing and very helpful. I would love to go back for a few days.
Thank you for looking after us was a great experience
My husband and I stayed here with my parents in early April and it was truly a fantastic experience. The property itself is gorgeous, the rooms we stayed in were huge, with enormous bathrooms and personal plunge pools. The common areas were equally luxurious, especially the huge infinity pool, the elegant dining room and the living/media room where we relaxed at night with a movie on the giant projector screen. One small negative was the hotel 'gym' which consisted of a set of free weights (but no weight bench), a bike that the display screen did not work on and a treadmill which kept breaking down mid-workout. However, the rest of the facilities were top of the line and very well maintained, and we enjoyed them immensely. The villa offers a nice view of the sea, and is in a quiet and peaceful location, allowing for a relaxing stay.
The service and the staff working for and at the property were exceptional, and were the highlight of our visit. From the start of the booking process the various people I dealt with were prompt at replying to my questions, and went out of their way to accommodate all of my requests, even arranging for a driver to take us on an extra little trip to Uluwatu Temple nearby. This excellent service continued after our arrival, and during our stay at the villa there were always staff nearby to attend to our needs and ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The villa manager Neri and all three of the villa butlers in particular were kind, attentive and wonderful to deal with. We loved chatting with the butlers and getting to know them all a bit better. My father and I also each had a Balinese massage during our stay and it was excellent, the therapist was professional and highly skilled.
The meals we had (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were delicious, especially the poolside BBQ dinner we had on our final night (the porks ribs and rice pudding dessert were a highlight), and the fabulous banana fritters with coconut ice cream we had on several occasions for dessert. The only letdown in this respect was the babi gluing dinner, which we were really looking forward to, being a local specialty. The roast pig, though flavourful, was extremely dry, almost to the point of being inedible. It is the one item on the menu I'd recommend skipping. Otherwise the food was excellent, and Chef Yan was even kind enough to give me a cooking demonstration and show me how to prepare a chicken curry which we then enjoyed for lunch. The beef rendang and meatball soup that he prepared for our lunch the following day were also very delicious, as were the lovely afternoon teas we enjoyed.
Overall we had an amazing stay at Shanti, the service was excellent, the property is beautiful and luxurious, and we had a fantastic, relaxing stay there and hope to return one day soon.
The location and views were exceptional the staff i found to be very polite and very helpful we had cooking lessons and woww the chief was a very professional he created fantastic food. all the above made our holiday in Bali well worth the 22.5 hrs flight to a undoubtedly fantastic holiday.
It was such an amazing experience at The Shanti Residence, the staff are such amazing people and were great to chat with. We stayed in the Villa which had the private pool, the rooms and layout were beautiful. They were very obliging and room service did a wonderful job every time. The food was amazing and they catered for our dietary requirements being vegan. The food tasted very fresh and flavoursome and there were endless options each meal. It was also very peaceful, quite and relaxing + the spa treatment was one of the best I've ever experienced. We can't wait to revisit this resort!
